Filmstars played a Football charity Match for social cause
Today Bollywood Celebrities has teamed up against Pune XI Team which compromises of Bureaucrats, Young Politicians for an entralling Celebrity Foot Ball Match which is organised for a social cause for the Cancer and Aids Patients at Balewadi Stadium, Pune. The Celebrity Football match was organised by Pune Based Abhijit Kadam Memorial Foundation jointly with Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation and at the end of the Match Bollywood Team emerges as a winner of the Foot ball match by Beating Pune XI by 7-2 win. Salman Khan was the Captain of the Bollywood Team and his Brother Sohail Khan has kicked 4 goals for the counterpart which helps Bollywood Team to win. Bollywood Team was compromises of Sohail Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Mahesh Manjrekar, Kunal Khemu, Ritesh Deshmukh, Harman Baweja, Ashmit Patel, Salman Khan as captain and many other Personalities. In Pune TeamXI the players were Dhanraj Pillay, Siddarth Jadhav, Ankush Chawdhari and various others.
While speaking to the Media, Bollywood Actor Sohail Khan said,"Every Year there is a great environment and happiness for us to be here for Foot ball. It's a great thing that we had played for the charity and we are just a as a family and we had won this time also against the Pune XI. Yesterday we have lost the cricket match at Vyazak.we have won the Foot Ball match and it's feel great to be here ."
When Asked about Indian Cricket Team, Sohail Khan said, As a sportsman, to play Foot Ball in front of the Large audiences is a good thing for me."
On the Other side, Congress Leader and Pune Team XI player said,"Foot Ball Tournament is done and now Charity Match is done for the cause of raising awareness about AIDS, HIV and Cancer among young children and today we have played a match against Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation Team and the public has also given a good response to the Football. All the money from the charity has to be given for the cause of HIV, Cancer patients and for the prevention of the Cancer and I am greatful that for the noble cause Bollywood stars had also helped us in this Foot Ball Match."
