Malaysian Deputy PM unviels Malaysian Visa Application Centre in Mumbai for Increasing the Tourism Growth


Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has today unvieled a Malaysian Visa Application Centre along with Director, VFS Global, Mr. Paul John at Babulnath Temple,Girgaum in Mumbai .It was organised by VFS Global Visa Company to endeavour and give boost to India- Malaysia Relations and expand it's services to other parts of the country. This Visa Application Centre will benifit to the travelers and visa seekers as they can now able to avail Malaysian visas from Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata,Banglore, Ahemdabad, Chandigarh and Kochi.Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin was on a five-day official visit to India from March 8 to12.

While speaking on the ocassion, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said,"I am indeed pleased to join Malaysian Visa application centre in Mumbai, this centre has became a focal point where indias all travel Agencies will submit visa applications to Malaysia and this can be done by Visiting our office. This will help to all Indian Travellers who want to visit Malaysia and they can come to the Visa application centre for making it done easily. Numbers of visitors from India going to Malaysia has been increased from last decade, from just over 130 thousands visitors in year 2000, the arrivals of Indians in Malaysia is increased 690
thousands in 2010, and I am pleased to inform you that India is now in top 10 Rank of Visiting Malaysia. I beleve this reflect the increasing relationships between India-Malaysia in terms of bussiness and process culture.Now in Malaysia 8 percent of Population is from India and our country has increasing number of employement for the Young professionals from India. In Malaysia, Indian Companies like Reliance , Satyam,Wipro Has set up their organisation and We hope there will be more companisies from India will settle down in Malaysia. Through this both country will come closer to business perspective and Culture too. Tourism is also an important key factor and through this Visa Centres it will be more easy for Indians to visit Malaysia.."
