Special Interview with Singer turned Actor 'Bappi Da'

Indian Disco King Bappi Lahiri is all set to be seen in a different version in a upcoming Television music reality show and apart from his singing he has also acted in a show called 'Ishaan' for the first time in his carrier.He is a singing sensation of Bollywood industry and the pioneer of DISCO in India and his song 'I am a Disco Dancer' is still enthralling the audience with it's renewed version. According to Baapi Da, his favourite singer is late Kishor Kumar and he is the one whom he like the most.

While speaking to UNI TV, Bappi Lahari said,"It's a great experience to be working with the teens in this serial called Ishaan, I am very happy to be part of the show, I have sung a song for the show 'Tim Tim ye Taare Disco' for the show which is composed by my son Bappa and the story of the serial is based upon me and I have worked in it.'"

When asked about in context to his favorite singer and Guru, he replied,"I have been in the Industry from many years and I have got the Opportunity to work with the legends of the Music Industry like Asha Ji had sung numerous song, Kalyanji Anandji different style and Singing Legend Lata Mangeshkar. I like old Songs a lot as compare to new songs.I like the composition and music of A.R.Rehman his music is really enchanting and he always make a different kind of music and varities and It's great to listen his music.
My Favorite Singer is Kishor Kumar and I love his type of music and I mostly listen his songs and as I had also worked with him it's great thing for me.

He also wishes Team India for The Very Best in forthcoming world cup and said that, Indian team have everything, good bowler like Harbhajan and Batsman like Gautam Gambhir, Sehwag, Sachin and Captain Dhoni and I am a Great lover of Cricket, apart from singing I like to watch Cricket as it's my hobby and I wish a very to Team India."
