56th Idea Filmfare Awards held in Mumbai

Bollywood Celebrities were seen altogether in a Grand ceremony of 56th Idea Filmfare Awards which was held at YashRaj Studio,Mumbai. Present at the Occasion were Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Urmila Matondkar, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Arbaaz Khan, Mallaika Arora khan,Sonakshi Sinha, Rishi Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Gulzar,Chunkey Pandey,Arshad Warsi, R. Madhavan and many more.


In Filmfare awards Category list, the best Supporting Actor male award was given to Ronit Roy for the film Udaan,Best Supporting Actor (Female) awards was grabbed by Kareena Kapoor for the film 'We are Family', Amit Trivedi got the best background score award for the film Udaan, Best Debut (Male) award was given to Ranveer Singh for Band Baajaa Baaraat and Best Debut (Female) award was given to Sonakshi Sinha for Dabang .In the director's category Best Debut Director grabbed by Manish Sharma for Band Baajaa Baaraat and Best Director Award was given to Karan Johar for My Name is Khan. Kajol got the Best Actress award for the film 'My Name is Khan' and Rekha gives the Best Actor Award to Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan for 'My Name is Khan. In filmfare Critics section the Best Actor (Critics) award is won by Rishi Kapoor for 'Do Dooni Chaar'.

While speaking to the Media,Choreographer and Film maker Farah Khan said,"I have two nominations this year and One is for 'Munni Badnaam Hui', other one is for 'Sheela Ki Jawani' and I Don't mind if I get a Joint Awards."

Bollywood Director Karan Johar said,"The season is great for me personally but I hope that the film 'My name is Khan' get all the love
and attention, that I believe it deserves."

Dabbang's Director Arbaaz khan said,"I have come here to be a part of the event and after him like you know, Dabbang is nominated in a few categories and see how the film goes."

"I am here to see the performances and I am sure that it's going to be a great show and offcourse I have been nominated so thats why more excitement for me." said Dabbang's Actress Sonakshi Sinha.

Bollywood actor R. Madhavan said that,"I am expecting a lot of fun here, I am looking to have a great time, excitement I guess and as far my Favourite film this year is My Name Is Khan and Band Baaja Baaraat."
