ATS Chief:Praveen Mutalik is an important link for the search of remaining Malegaon Bomb Blast Accused
In 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case accused Praveen Mutalik has been arrested from Karnataka by Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Today in a press conference on Malegaon Bomb Blast case, ATS Chief Rakesh Maria said 11 culprits has already arrested in the malegaon case and out of three wanted people, we have arrested Praveen Mutalik from Karnataka but still the other two wanted culprits Ramjik kalsingra and Sandeep daugale is still in review and we are working to find them out.
While speaking to the Media,Chief of Anti Terrorist Squad Rakesh Maria Said,"29th September 2008,the Bomb Blase has occured at Bhiku Chawk, Malegaon and in this blast 6 people were dead and 101 people were injured and Our ATS Pune Unit under the supervision of additional commisioner Sukhvinder Singh and other were working from last three Months on a suspect Praveen Mutalik. We recieved an information that Praveen Mutalik actually a resident of Bokak in Belgaon District of Karnataka were involved in Malegaon Blast. We verified this information and on last night(31st January) by 9 to 10 pm we nabbed him from his residence. Today we had produced him in MACOCA Court and court remanded accused Praveen Mutalik a police custody till 14th February. He is the important like for us in Malegaon Blast and we are questionig him about the others involved in it. He has been present in some of the conspiracy meeting held in Nashik and panchmadi. Lieutenant Colonel Prior to three months of the Malegaon Bomb Blast, he was working under at Lieutenant Colonel Purohit as a personal Secretary."
When asked about what kind of action has been taken to find the accused of Malegaon Case, ATS Chief said,"Wh have formed a special ATS Team to find out the remained culprits of the Malegaon Bomb Blast and we are now questioning to Praneen Mutalik and we are reviewing other two wanted culprits Ramjik kalsingra and Sandeep daugale."
