Bollywood Mr. perfectionist Aamir khan was present on the promo Launch of her director wife Kiran Rao's forthcoming film 'Dhobi Ghat' at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental in Mumbai. Apart from Aamir, the co-star of the film Prateik Babbar was also a part of the promotional event of the film Dhobi. According to Aamir Khan,Dhobi Ghat is a film for the soft target audience and the film will release on 21st January 2010.
While speaking to the Media, Bollywood Actor and Producer Aamir khan said," we through our film try to potray the different profession and many times we have to face controversies created either on the charecters or the dialogue of the films and then people blame producers for the same, for e.g with Shahrukh khan, his film 'Billu Barber', barber's association got together and forced shahrukh to remove 'Barber'. and thus the title was then just "Billu". This somewhere leads to the loss for the production team. Although High Court stood hard and the decision taken was in the favours of the film. I just want to say, People should behave calm and try not to get in to the small issues and waste the time of the Court as well as the Producers."
When asked about the Movie Aamir said,"I feel as a producer ,and Kiran the director of the film choose the right person for the role and Prateik is like a dream actor, he has worked hard for almost two to three months on his character and dialogue in the film, he specially visited 'Dhobighat' situated in mumbai, and help washers, wash clothes. He is an Ideal new comer and very much dedicated to his work. "
