Today Gazal Maestro Jagjit Singh launches his new album 'Goverdhan Girdhari' which is based on the the Theme of Lord krishna at Nehru Centre,Mumbai. The album consists of 12 Bhajans song which is sung by Jagjit Singh, Singer Shreya Ghosal and Singer Richa Sharma. The Bhajans songs in this Album is based on the Traditional style. According to JAgjit Singh, The Composition in this album is of Traditional Style with Different 'Raag'.
While Speaking to the Media, Gazal Samrat Jagjit Singh said," Apart from me, the Bhajans Songs in this album is sung by Shreya Ghosal and Richa Sharma and both are outstanding Singers. All the songs in this Album is based on Lord Krishna. Several Saints had already expressed many things about the Lord Krishna as they have their own Worship towards Lord Krishna.So in this Album, the composition is in Traditional style and for every bhajan there is different Raag, so we had composed the song based on the raag. "
