Today the most popular domestic football event in overseas, Barclays premier league Trophy has unvieled at Hotel ITC Grand Central in Mumbai and the occasion was graced by the India's Top most veteran footballers and club owners along with Satya Bansal, the Managing director of the Barclays. Even,The Indian footballers and club owners were felicitated by Barclays for the contribution to the development of Indian football. According to the veteran Goalkeeper Sanath Seth,In India football has a great scope and a good future but football players has need support and determination.
While speaking to the media,Jamshid Nassiri said,"India is performing great in sports as recently they had performed better in Commonwealth Games,Asian Games and in football too. Its great to see that corporates are now connecting with sports and this connection provides good health to sports and in excelling the sports."
On the other side Satya Bhansal, Managing director Barclays said,"We are the second largest population in India but thene also India is not very good in Football. Indian football association select players from different teams like Mohan Bagan, Churchil brothers and many other too but there is still lack in the performance.As per me IFA select football players and train them for one year and select 30 players out of it and I must say the player will perform better if they get trained. "
Veteran goalkeeper of Indian Football,Sanath Seth explained,"Football has a great future in India, Indian players has everything but they have to be motivated and they needs to be trained and after that Indian players will perform their better."
